Soft Tail Vodka
A departure from the ordinary, Soft Tail Vodka offers and warmth and smoothness that is sure to warrant a second sip. This true sipping vodka with a sweet flourishing finish will have you coming back for more. ($32) Bronze Medal – SF World Spirits Competition (2010)
Grappa Blanco (84 proof) – 2008
Eighty-four-proof grappa (42 percent alcohol) made from Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Syrah grape pomace. Full of pear-skin and white-flower aromas. Develops white chocolate and cherry chocolate on the palate. ($34)
Grappa Sangiovese (84 proof) - 2009
Made exclusively from Sangiovese pomace, this traditional single varietal grappa is one of our most popular. Fresh aromas of strawberry and hay with a pleasent grainy mouthfeel that warms the throat. A remarkably good match with chocolate-covered espresso beans. ($38) Silver Medal – SF World Spirits Competition (2010)
Grappa Reserve (100 proof) - 2008 SOLD OUT
Complex aromas of lilac, huckelberry, fresh cream and yeast. Develops a heat that fills the palate. Soft black-berry fruit flavors. At 100 proof, it has a kick. A nice digestivo. ($44)
Grappa Cabernet (100 proof) – 2009 SOLD OUT
Praised as a true to form Italian Grappa, the 100 proof 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon single varietal stands by itself as one of Soft Tail’s crowning achievements. Smoky aromas of vanilla and dark chocolate with a touch of sweetness on the finish. ($44)
Grappa Giallo (84 proof) – 2008
Soft, gold color. Has pent six months in Frech oak. aromas of straw and hay with soft pear and apple flavors similar to a light lowland Scotch whiskey. ($34)
